Malton White Star Band invite all beginners or returning players to join our new Community Training Band. With the loan of an instrument, free tuition and a chance to join together and play as part of a band it’s a great opportunity to meet new friends and learn a new skill in the process (or brush up on the playing you gave up 30 years ago!). If you would like your child or grandchild to have a go then why not sit with them and have a go yourself! All of us at White Star join in with the rest of the country and world in mourning the loss of our beloved Queen Elizabeth. Going to rehearsal tonight and playing Eventide and the National Anthem was very moving and emotional. The end of an era for us all. On Saturday 10th September the band plays at the monthly food market in Malton between 11am and 1pm.
On Sunday 11th September we appear at Peasholm Park in Scarborough between 2.30pm and 4.30pm.
